The future of epilepsy research is bright.
If at least 2 approved anti-epileptic drugs (AED) have been ineffective at controlling your seizures, you may be one of up to 30% of patients with focal onset seizures who are experiencing what is called "drug resistant seizures." The REALIZE study is testing the effectiveness of an investigational medication at decreasing focal onset seizures, also called partial seizures.
To be eligible for this study, you must:
- Be 18 to 75 years old
- Be diagnosed with epilepsy with focal onset seizures for at least 2 years
- Have tried at least 2 other epilepsy treatments that have not worked to control seizures
If you qualify for this study, you will receive all study-related visits, exams, and medications at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may be available.
